茶道乃修身养性之道。饮茶、养性，与氛围息息相关。在闹市中营造出一片静土，使人在安宁的芳草中感受身心，同时又有是薇茶舍的目标。云与草是用来实现这个目标的符号，它们化身为灯具、地毯，墙壁甚至家具。它们模糊了室内与室外的界限。当人们坐在室内时，如同坐在云草间，感受纯净的自然。
Tea ceremony is way of self-cultivation. The atmosphereof environment is essential to tea drinking and mind cultivating. Therefore,the aim of WE Tea House is build a quiet and pure land in the downtown area, sothat people may find peaceful in this place.Cloud and grass are the symbols for this aim. So theybecome the light, the carpet, the walls, and the furniture. They blend theboundary of inside and outside spaces. Sitting inside the house is like sittingamong the grasses and clouds. People may feel like stay in the pure nature.

做一个足够大、耐用、便于清洁、安装相对简单、并且可以对桌面进行功能性照明，同时又行云流水般的灯具，是这个餐馆空间设计中最大的困难。在充分考虑亚克力板材的特性与最大尺寸后，通过计算机建模与机器加工保证云灯准确的造型与体量。利用板材侧边线条与灯光打造出的云的流动与漂浮感，使平凡的材料呈现出独特的一面。
The biggest challenge is to design a perfect light forthe environment, for the light needs to be big enough, durable, and easy toclean, relatively simple to install. The light focuses on both functional useand symbolic outlook – a cloud.
☁️草毯隔断可以拉起，视野也会一片开阔☁️
室内长条桌上方的巨大云灯成为整个茶舍的中心，与地面的草毯遥相呼应，围合出一个独特的空间氛围。所有茶桌设计有隐藏的自动上水与加热功能，并且配有插座与桌斗方便楼中商务人士使用。身处冷峻、现代化、高效运转的浦东金融中心中，这间安静独特的茶室给忙碌工作中的人们带来一份放松。
The design of light has fully considered the featureand biggest size of acrylic sheet, using computer modeling and machineprocessing to guarantee the accuracy of the cloud shape. Beautiful sidelines ofthe acrylic sheets make the light looking as if it was floating in the air. The huge cloud lights on the table, as thecenter of the teahouse, matching with the grass carpet, makes a specialatmosphere. All the table has automatic water feeding and heating system,coming with electrical plugs and a place where businessman can put the bag in.This quiet and special teahouse has brought a relaxingmoment to the people who work in the modern and fast-paced Pudong financialcenter.
