2013-2022十年时间，4平方公里的普罗理想国，逐渐落实了梦想社区的版图。地处郑州市与开封市连线中央，理想国从破败荒废的农田，成为一座集生活、教育、医疗为一体，社群生活丰富，自然环境优美的迷你移民城市。

During 2013 – 2022, the 4-square-kilometer of the Pulo Ideal Land has gradually implemented the territory of dreamy community. Located in the center of connected-line between Zhengzhou and Kaifeng, the Pulo Ideal Land has transformed from a dilapidated farmland into a mini immigrant city which integrated life, education, and medical care together, along with abundant community life and beautiful natural environment.

国道下沉为隧道，让出一座88,000平米的中央公园，提供足球活动、儿童陆地与水上游戏设施、湖滨西餐厅等活动；污染严重的灌溉渠与排洪沟，变成两条生态优渥，功能饱满的河川径流；两公里长的生态廊道，连接两条河川，形成蓝绿带生态交织，为生态可持续发展提供基础。

The national highway was sunk and transformed into a tunnel, giving way to an 88,000-square-meter Central Park, which could provide space for football activities, children’s land and water entertainment facilities, lakeside western restaurants and so on. The heavily polluted irrigation canal and flood drainage ditch changed into two ecologically beautiful and full-featured river. The two-kilometer-long ecological corridor connects these two rivers, forming an ecological interweaving with blue-and-green belts, which provides a foundation for ecological sustainable development.

随着西区建设的陆续交付，越来越多的人群常驻社区。面对东区的发展升级，团队希望提升商业的多样性、便利性、特殊性、趣味性，将生活的“烟火气”，融为社区触手可及的日常，营造能产生并延续“理想国生活记忆”的生活商业、邻里商业系统。中央公园东西两侧因此打开，两条15米车道内化为步行街区，利用中央公园两侧腹地，营造丰富多样的生活商业，逐步架构出这片活力十足的公园商业街区。

With the successive completion of the construction of West District, more and more people are staying in the community. Through the development and upgrading of East District, our team hopes to enhance the diversity, convenience, specificity, and enjoyment of business. We want to integrate the “little things of life” into the community daily routine, and create a commercial system of life and neighborhood that can generate and continue the “Ideal Life Memory”. Therefore, the east and west sides of Central Park are opened, and the two 15-meter driveways are turned into pedestrian blocks. Using the hinterland on both sides of Central Park, we create various styles of living business, and gradually construct the vibrant commercial district in Central Park.

01.普罗市集：播撒记忆的种子
Pulo Ideal Park Market: create amazing memories

普罗市集在上述规划前提下开展，成为一颗邻里活力商业2.0版本的种子，象征着理想国社区活力的新纪元。为能呈现更加完整全面的效果，建筑、景观、室内设计以及运营团队，从规划初期就紧密捆绑，为市集注入不同成分的能量，助力这个多界面、小而美的项目落成，并为理想国艺文东街活力邻里商业街区塑造氛围样板。

Under the premise of above planning, the Pulo Ideal Park Market has become the Neighborhood Vitality Business Version 2.0, symbolizing a new era of community vitality in the Pulo Ideal Land. In order to present a more complete and comprehensive effect, the architecture, landscape, interior design and operation teams have been tightly bound together from the early stage of planning. They have injected different components of energy into the market to help completing this multi-interface, mini-size but beautiful project. On the other hand, they also created an atmosphere model for the Yiwen East Street, a vibrant neighborhood commercial block.

我们尝试从景观角度破题“烟火气”，最终将注意力集中到“营造可以诞生记忆的环境”。人们常不记得具体的时间，却能记住某一次的食物味道，某一次的情境画面，某一次闻到的气味。这种点状的、碎片式的记忆，往往历经多年不忘，成为构成自我人格的一部分。我们希望普罗市集能诞生这样零散却深刻的记忆，以非常规的手法，摈除表演式的设计，抛弃了不起的节点，让空间回到“人”的感受，成为日常生活，集体记忆的载体。

We attempted to solve the “little things of life” from the perspective of landscape, and finally focused on “creating an environment that can form memories”. People often don’t remember the specific time, but they can remember the taste of food, the scene, and the smell they felt at a certain time. This kind of point-like, fragmented memory is often unforgotten after many years and gradually becomes a part of the self-personality. We hope that such scattered but profound memories can be born in the Pulo Ideal Park Market. With unconventional methods, we get rid of performance-style design and nodes, and let the space return to the feeling of “people” itself, and furthermore making it a carrier of daily life and collective memory.

02. 去边界化：融合万物的自然
De-boundary: integrate everything in nature

鉴于普罗市集“种子”与“样板”的定位，虽然是一片独立用地，却势必要与周遭环境相生相融。厘清项目策划中的位置之后，创造合理有机的共生共荣环境，成为景观方面呼之欲出的解题思路。在理想国社区，自然与公共空间的融合已随处可见，商业长在公园，餐厅坐落湖畔。融合的设计理念联系、贯穿了建筑、景观与室内专业的设计表达，不论有形的用地边界，还是无形的专业边界，在普罗市集都消融弥合，成为集大成之自然。

In view of the positioning of the “seed” and “model” of the Pulo Ideal Park Market, although it is an independent land, it is bound to blend with the surrounding environment. After clarifying the position of it in the project planning, creating a reasonable, organic symbiosis and co-prosperity environment has become a problem-solving idea for the landscape. In the Pulo Ideal Land community, the integration of nature and public space can be seen everywhere, with businesses in the park and restaurants located by the lake. The integrated design concept connects the professional design expression of architecture, landscape and interior design. No matter the tangible land boundary or the intangible professional boundary, they are all melted and blended in Pulo Ideal Park Market, which become a natural integration.

市集也理应由自然发起，自公园的色彩渗透，晕染，以融合万物的自然，消弭建筑的伟岸，进而创造于自然之上的人文之美。因此，景观对沿街面乔木设置进行重组，让沿街梧桐在市集段落断开，以更细致且视线穿透的银杏，与公园形成视觉上的联结。仿佛公园的一抹黄，在沿街的红褐色中挤出一条通路，铺陈出了这片同样金黄的市集。

The market ought to be initiated by nature, and the colors from the park should permeate and blend, so as to integrate the nature of all things and eliminate the majesty of the building, and furthermore creating a humanistic beauty above nature. Therefore, the landscape reorganizes the arrangement of trees along the street, so that the Chinese parasol trees are disconnected at the market section. Besides we used more detailed and penetrating Ginkgo trees to form a visual connection with the park. It seems that a touch of yellow in the park squeezes out a passage in the reddish brown along the street, laying out this same golden market.

市集建筑化整为零，让空间具备内外皆宜的开放性，再用大面积透光玻璃，将自然邀入室内；室内通过对游逛动线的规划，让人的视线关注到市集多样、趣味的“物”之上，以赏物支撑“游逛”，体验“挤挤攘攘”的赶集气氛。景观利用地面材料区隔出外街与内街，对两个内外街连接口进行刻意压缩，同时拉开室内主入口的树木间距，配合完成入口气氛营造。

The market building is divided into parts, so that the space has a suitable openness for both inside and outside. Large area of light-transmitting glasses are used to let nature into the room. Through the planning of the indoor circulation, people can focus on the various interesting “things” of the market. Wandering and enjoying things at the same time, which gives people a chance to experience the “hustle and bustle” atmosphere of “gan ji”. The landscape uses ground materials to separate the outer street from the inner street. We deliberately compress the connection between the inner and outer streets, and at the same time widen the distance between trees at the main entrance to create the atmosphere of the entrance.

在市集的其他三个界面，则延续公园的林向气氛，将种植蔓延到了用地之外，借此架构出植物错落的景深，摈除工地画面的影响，营造出当下的自然沉浸式体验。

In the other three interfaces of the market, we continued the forest-like atmosphere of the park. Plantings spread beyond the site, so as to construct the depth of field view where the plants are scattered. We aim to get rid of the influence of the construction site, and create a natural and immersive experience of the moment.

03. 退而成境，因借成景
Retreat to create an environment, and form the scene through borrowing

市集的基础环境对景观来说并不优越。腹地有限，动线交织，绿植难以成林成片，却又亟需向硬质空间争取话语权，弱化建筑与铺装的坚硬之感，迎接拜访者来自各个角度的观赏。

The basic environment of the Market is not superior in landscape. The limited hinterland and the intertwined moving lines make it difficult for green plants to form a forest. However, it is urgent to strive for the hard space to weaken the rigidity of the building and pavement, so that visitors can enjoy it from all angles.

因此，退让与借景，成为市集景观设计过程中，最重要的两项设计手法。在“合体、适宜”的原则下，“退让”并非不作为，是应对市集项目特点的最佳策略。不冒进不争先，为人的实际使用，留出商铺展示画面与舒适活动区域；烘托展现建筑木构之美，成就室内外空间的通透；布置适当观赏点，以花艺手法布置植物，让整体空间浑然一体。

Therefore, retreating and borrowing scenery have become the two most important design methods in the Market landscape design process. Under the principle of “fitness and appropriateness”, “retreating” is not inaction, but the best strategy to deal with the characteristics of the Market project. We do not rush forward, but pursue for the actual use of people and leave places for the display of store and a comfortable activity area. We highlight the beauty of architectural wood structures to achieve the transparency of indoor and outdoor spaces. Moreover, we also arrange appropriate viewing points, and decorate plants with floral techniques to make the overall space integrated.

景观的介入，应是一种难以察觉，自然而然，却又那么刚好的存在。室内外边界逐步消融，取而代之的则是难分彼此，不可名状的“境界之美”。

The intervention of the landscape should be an imperceptible, natural, but just right existence. The boundary between indoor and outdoor gradually melts away, replaced by an indescribable “beauty of realm” that is indistinguishable from each other.

借景，则是对内外联系的关注与应用。“极目所至，俗则屏之，嘉则收之” 。视线越出景观用地的所及之处，使地块周边的环境、区域内室内的环境，均纳入考量。有帮助的加以善用，不适合的便进行屏障。更越出当下，将叙事交给郑州分明的四季，让流转的时间在这里具象的沉淀，分时在市集绽放、成荫、留香，成为集体记忆的索引。

Borrowing scenery refers to the focus and application of internal and external connections. “As far as the eye can see, the vulgar ignores it, and the good one accepts it.” Watch beyond the landscape land, we take the surrounding environment and the indoor environment in the area into consideration. We also make good use of those are helpful, and shield those that are not suitable. Jumping out of the present, we let Zhengzhou’s distinct four seasons to tell, so that the passing time can precipitate here, and the view would bloom, shade, and fragrant at different time in the Market, which would become an index of collective memory.

04. 有呼吸感的商业
Breathing business

人生长在城市之中，更生长在社会之中。有呼吸的地方，有沟通的地方，便有情感的联结与交互。呼吸感一词的流行，投射出人们对于生活本真、对情感联结的向往。疫情之下，需求更甚。有呼吸感的商业，让人感到足够的尊重，自己不是陷入信息茧房的某位匿名用户，不是被大数据杀熟的目标客群，而是一个活生生的，与众不同的人。

People grow in city, but more in a society. Where there is breathing and communication, there is emotional connection and interaction. The popularity of the term “breathing sense” reflects people’s yearning for the authenticity of life and emotional connection. The demand is even greater under the epidemic situation recently. A “breathing business” makes people feel enough respect that we are not an anonymous user trapped in an information cocoon, not a target customer group that locked with big data, but a living and unique person.

通过打造非标准化的商业空间，我们希望市集商业与景观的树木一同，自在呼吸。内街全面铺设砾石，这种不利快步通行的材料，与外街规整人工的铺装形成对比，带出更具温度的手工气息。快速行走不易，索性放慢脚步，与石子的棱角厮磨，反而成为打破都市效率生活的契机。下次拜访时，也会特意选择软底舒适的鞋子，人均球鞋的视觉画面，也成为市集空间更具闲适感染力的机会。砾石的透水性、多孔性等生态优势，也与理想国绵延的雨水花园相应。

By creating a non-standard commercial space, we hope that the Market and the trees in the landscape can both breathe freely. The inner street is fully paved with gravel. This material, which is not conducive to fast walking, is in contrast to the regular and artificial pavement of the outer street, bringing out a warmer handmade atmosphere. It is not easy to walk fast, so simply slowing down and grinding against the edges and corners of the stones just become an opportunity to break the fast city life. The next time people visit, they will deliberately choose soft-soled and comfortable shoes. The visual picture of the per capita sneakers has also become an opportunity for the Market space to gain a more leisurely appeal. The ecological advantages of gravel, such as water permeability and porosity, also correspond to the continuous raining in garden of Utopia.

灯光设计上也承接了退让美学的叙事，弱化景观灯，着重表达阴翳之美。“美并非在于物体，而在于物体与物体相合而生的阴翳之浓淡明暗。”让建筑站上舞台，以原木的金黄映衬天空深蓝的幕布，景观只辅佐少量特定角度的灯光，拉出树冠层次，映衬出独特的墨绿质感，在建筑玻璃的透景画面下内外难辨。

The lighting design also inherits the aesthetics of retreating, that we weaken the landscape lights and emphasize the beauty of shadows. “Beauty does not lie in the object, but in the depth and extent of the shadows created by the combination of the objects.” Let the building stand out, with the golden color of the logs against the dark blue curtain of the sky. The landscape only assists with a small number of lights at specific angles to pull out the layers of tree canopy, reflecting the unique dark green texture, which is difficult for people to distinguish the inside and outside under the perspective picture of the architectural glass.

商业项目中，各专业所呈现的综合协调性至关重要。商业景观需要承担连接者的角色，以成人之美的姿态，在各个专业之间穿针引线，用花草自然的温度感，调和整理环境。最终不露声色的隐退其后，将场地交付给使用的人群。

In commercial projects, the comprehensive coordination of various majors is very important. The commercial landscape needs to be a connector that assist to coordinate different majors. We use the natural scene of flowers and plants to reconcile and tidy up the environment, and finally dilute and fade the scene, and deliver the venue to the people who use it.

普罗市集虽小，但在所有团队的共同努力下，适宜的成就了一次非标准的邻里商业叙事。不仅承载社区的美好日常，也具备城市目的地的持续生命力，为社区居民及城市拜访者，提供疗愈身心，鲜活饱满的都市生活集体记忆。

Although Puluo Market is mini-sized, it has appropriately evolved a non-standard neighborhood business with the joint efforts of all teams. It not only carries the beautiful daily life of the community, but also has the continuous vitality of the urban destination, providing community residents and city visitors with healing, fresh and intact collective memories of urban life.
