Appreciations towards GVL for providing the following description:

项目位于成都天府大道两侧，作为麓湖生态城1期湖岸线改造计划的一部分，该项目旨在通过一系列滨水开放空间的改造，增加人的可达性、参与感和舒适度，强化麓湖生态城的轻度假氛围。

Located along Tianfu Avenue, Chengdu, the project is part of the lakeshore renovation for Luxuelakes Eco City Phase I. The design aims to promote the park’s accessibility, encourage participation and improve the comfort level of the eco city with a series of renovated waterfront spaces.

折桥是原有的水上结构，设计难点在于如何在荷载的约束下塑造出水上构筑物的灵动特质，设计团队选择用覆膜白玻璃和冲孔板结合的轻质表皮结构替代绝大部分的桥面扶手栏杆，维护栏杆演变的钢龙骨体系为塑形提供了一定的结构灵活度，与环境明暗调有高度反差的表皮又进一步强化了结构的轻盈质感。

The folded bridge over the lake is kept. To make it look more elegant and dynamic, the team replaces most handrails with the light structure made of coated white glass and punched plates. The steel joist enhances the flexibility of the structure and the special-colored skin material further highlights its lightness.

郎酒总部建筑设计风格非常现代，其临湖一侧是连续的自由立面，场地竖向的最大落差超过10米，进深最窄的位置不过20米，相对较窄的陆域腹地尺度、挺拔的建筑体量与开阔的湖面尺度形成鲜明的对比，将对行人产生较为强烈的空间压迫感。设计团队希望能通过景观设计缓和转化这种感受，平衡二者间的冲突感。通过提炼西南山地聚落丰富的步行体验元素，设计团队选择积极对话建筑，呈现一系列转折形态的路径和界面，也因此确定了“折线公园”的名称。

The modern Langjiu headquarter overlooks the lake with free continuous facade. The site provides an elevation difference of more than 10 m. The narrowest part is only 20m wide, thus contrasting with the towering building and open lake, making people feel a little bit constricted. The design team hopes to ease the constriction and balance these two parts. Referring to the rich walking systems in the southwest mountains, the design dialogues with the architecture actively, presenting a series of zigzag routes and interfaces. That’s why the project is called Zigzag Park.

滨水建筑对一线湖景资源的诉求以及狭窄的陆域进深，导致很难利用植物层次来造景，因此设计团队决定延续建筑漂浮屋顶的设计理念，再置入一个与建筑屋顶相呼应的景观构筑物——折廊。折廊有两个维度的设计逻辑，其一是它必须具备一定的体量，才能在置入后起到协调建筑环境空间尺度的目的；其二是从近人尺度看它，又不应构成对湖岸建筑之间的视线障碍。这两个逻辑之间存在一定的矛盾性，因而设计团队最终选用钢构折廊的方式完成这个设计，在提供更加灵活的大跨度空间的同时，避免常规承重墙柱对滨水环境中视线的分隔和遮挡。

In consideration of the limitation of the site, the team decided to continue the design idea of the “floating roof” and create a zigzag gallery to echo the roof. The gallery must be designed with a proper volume to harmonize the surrounding and avoid blocking the view at the same time. To realize the idea, the team finally chooses steel structure which will not only provide more flexible long-span space but also avoid sight blocking.
