本案基地位于广东新会公墓入口处,群山环绕,南侧面向湖面和山体,北侧为公墓区。由于老办公楼不能满足日常使用,业主要求建一个综合楼和公墓区门房。其功能包括门房,业务用房,销售展示用房,客户接待休息空间,内部人员办公和休闲用房。除了满足业主要求的功能升级和形象提升的基本要求外,本案更关注行为场所理论在墓园建筑设计的运用,希望通过建筑空间秩序的塑造和演绎诠释终极关怀的意义。

地形,现状建筑分析和三条轴线的叠合——通过对现有地形,山势走向,存在建筑,原有空间序列,景观方向等研究,得出三条基本的控制轴线,由此生成建筑面向湖面的主要公共空间,其它功能空间依存于此逐次展开。同时,增加钟塔,听风廊,三角庭院和亲水冥想空间等元素,重塑整个空间序列。

穿越边界,空间层次与身体体验——建筑处于“生区”和“死区”两种区域之间,南侧湖面与绿山是生意盎然的“生区”,北侧则是石碑林立,肃穆庄重的“死区”,建筑本身成为了穿越两种空间特质的边界。为了使两种空间在一个特定的空间得到弥合,建筑必须具有丰富的空间层次。某种意义上讲,大门钟塔,听风廊,前广场,入口庭院,冥想空间,夹园,亲水眺望台和灯光带,水景带等一系列满足人们身体体验性要求的空间元素比常规的功能空间更为重要。它们依次展开,使人在进出园区之间能感到生命与自然的伟大,在穿越的过程中,体味生命的意义,引发由生而死,向死而生的思考。

平面构成——由几条视线控制轴线形成核心空间的边界,主体整体面向湖面为其它功能空间争取最大化景观,钟楼,听风廊和院墙与原有环境和道路呼应与主体形成一定角度,并围合出庭院空间,广场,入口区域,起空间引导作用。

体量组成与功能整合——功能分三大部分,建筑主体,大门和钟塔(门房),设计将这三部分整合如一,满足功能使用,同时整体提升墓园的入口形象。中部是贯穿两层的入口空间与面向湖景的冥想空间,首层两侧分别为销售展示,业务办理和业务接待,二层为内部人员办公和休闲功能。所有功能均向湖景和夹园打开。

整个体量组成上由,折叠实体,玻璃光廊,取景器冥想间,门房钟楼,听风廊,夹园景墙和景观灯带等要素构成。它们也是营造整个空间序列的必要空间节点和构成要素。

自然朴素材质——建筑用材以素雅,粗朴为主,尽量体现原材料本身的质感魅力,在满足耐候,耐久性的基础上,选用一些能体现时间痕迹的材料。钢材,白色素混凝土,木材,耐候锈蚀钢板和玻璃是本案所选用的主要材料。材料的并置和对比也是本案的考虑重点。

起承转合的空间序列——为了使建筑得到升华,打造一条完整的起承转合的空间序列是必须的。从湖面对岸远眺建筑开始,经过钟楼,听风廊,前广场,夹园等,最终回到望向湖景的休息和冥想空间。

The site is located in entrance of acemetery. For the old offices, gates & other facilities is not fitting tothe need of the cemetery’s need, the client wants to setup a new mixed-usebuilding that contain office, exhibition & selling rooms, customer &staff lounge etc. In this project, first of all, we integrates the gate and thebuilding for upgrating the whole shape of the cemetery, the complex has 3parts: main building, entrant gate & a bell tower. Second of all, by analyzingthe original elements & view axis of the site, there is a sequence axis beingset, which matches original condition & makes full use of landscape, alongthis axis important special elements will be kept or added including originalpool & pavilion, new square , lights row & some sculptures. Third ofall, as the climax of the sequence ameditation space is set in the middle of the axis & facing to the lake,from this main space other functions is arranged by their character, private orpublic, functional or monumental. Fourth of all, an integralsequence is formed by the axis and the meditation space, also some walls andwind corridor act as the boundary of the death & the life to present the spiritualmeaning as people walking thought. Fifth of all, the building has minimum artform, also presenting the concept of time, some natural time-changeablematerial is used, including the wood, the restrain iron plate & raggedconcrete, we encourage people to touch & fell it in order to catch themeaning of the life.
