Ordinary beauty——the interior design of Kalecafe chain design by towodesign was shortlisted in the 2014 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards and won the Gold Award for the 13/14 APDC awards dining group.
“甘蓝咖啡连锁”咖啡馆设计紧扣品牌主题，将logo中树的形象作为贯穿各个店的主题元素，用现代设计语言诠释亦凡亦美：普通人的生活也可多彩的主题。
The interior design of Kalecafe chain focuses on the brand concept, using the main image of a tree that in the logo as the theme element. The designer tries to interpret “ordinary beauty” with modern design language, that ordinary people’s life can be beautiful.
在钱江花园店里，由于空间位于二楼，层高不高，所以采用的多个树灯来贯穿于整个空间，通过错落的排列与重复来反映主题，同时在功能上满足照明的需要。在原本单一的空间内引入小房子，通过变形，使其成为店面、入口、吧台、展柜、卫生间和座位的构成元素，利用小房子排列来划分整个室内环境，配合树灯，营造出自然的建筑群落空间。入馆客人犹如坐在村中路边的树下畅饮聊天。
In Qianjiang garden café located on the second floor, due to the limited height of ceiling, several tree lights are scattered into the space, reflecting the theme repeatedly, at the same time, meeting the needs of lighting of the space. Mini-houses become another design element in the space, by changing its form, it mini-houses become the entrance, bar, showcase, toilet and booth, dividing the space. Together with tree lights, mini-houses create a natural building community space. Sitting in here is like sitting under a tree in the side of village.
甘蓝本为菜，能吃也能雅，所以咖啡馆的装修以朴实常用的材料为主，通过概念与组合来达到一种主题，装修在简约上需求一种隐性的传达，不花费成本去刻意的制造惊艳，让对空间的改造与附加降到最低，让创意与雅致亲近大众。
Kale is a kind of vegetable, while its shape is like a rose. People can eat it, and appreciate it at the same time. So the decorations in cafe are rather simple style, highlighting the theme. Making creativity and elegance close to the public.
